Unlock the Full Power of Your Car
What an ECU unlock really does, the gains by platform, and how we turn most tuning jobs around inside 24 hours.

Your car left the factory detuned. Emissions targets, global fuel quality and warranty math all take a bite out of what the engine can safely make. An ECU unlock gives that back, and we do the unlock in house with Stage 4 Tuning, our official tuning partner.

What an unlock actually does
The factory ECU is write protected. Unlocking it opens the calibration so boost targets, ignition timing, fueling, torque limiters, throttle mapping and transmission shift pressure can be rewritten as one coordinated package. That is the difference between a piggyback box guessing at values and a real map that the car believes.
A piggyback lies to the ECU. A real calibration tells it the truth and moves the limits.

Typical gains by platform
| Platform | Typical gain | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| BMW M and Alpina | Up to 120 horsepower | S58, N63 and B58 platforms |
| Mercedes AMG | Up to 140 horsepower | M177 and M139 platforms |
| Porsche Turbo and GT | Up to 110 horsepower | 9A2 and 4.0 platforms |
| Audi RS and S | Up to 130 horsepower | 2.9T and 4.0T platforms |
| Lamborghini Urus | Up to 150 horsepower | 4.0T with downpipes |

How the 24 hour turnaround runs
We read the ECU, log a baseline pull and confirm the car is mechanically ready before anything is written.
The factory lock is opened in house so the map can be written without shipping your module across the country.
Stage 4 Tuning builds the map around your fuel, hardware and how you actually drive the car.
Logged pulls, a road validation and a saved stock file so the car can return to factory any time.
Safety and warranty
We refuse a tune on a car that is not ready. Carbon buildup, a tired clutch pack, weak ignition or a boost leak all get flagged before anything is written. Your stock file is archived so the car can be returned to factory calibration for service. Manufacturer warranty terms vary, so we walk you through what a tune means for your specific coverage before you commit.
